What to do with fish?

What should we do with fish that we catch? Do we leave it or do we take it? People aren't being respectful and taking more fish. Well an interesting fact is that you should pick up a fish that you catch with a wet hand towel. This is because touching it with your hands could lead to taking off their coating which keeps them alive when they’re out of the water. Another interesting fact is that if you catch a fish and bring it and it is under or oversized then you could get a fine or even get your boat confiscated. Well this is why you should know what to do with fish.

The thing that you need to know is that you only take the amount of fish you can eat. Taking all the fish can lead to fish being instinct. Some fish catchers like to look for birds because the birds can tell you where fish are because they can see fish and will go down to the water to catch some. Sometimes you see plastic around in the waters which fish could eat so you can pick up that plastic. Another thing is If you go fishing and catch a fish you will need to make sure that you have a fish ruler. The reason is that if you don’t have a fishing ruler then you can’t measure your fish to make sure it is the correct size to take it. A snapper (fish) has to be 30 cm to be able to take it.

Whatever you do don’t take under and over sized fish because you could be taking away most of the fish in our oceans. If you take an undersized fish then they won’t have time to grow and won’t have a long lasting life in the water. Same for the oversized fish, but if you take oversized fish then you are taking away the opportunity for them to breed. If they breed then they can make more fish for our oceans.

Taking under or over sized fish can be a problem. If people keep catching and taking any sized fish it can lead to a problem which can include depleting the number of fish in our oceans or even not being able to have foods that include fish.
