Time Table Animation


L.i is to make an animation about multiplying fractions with a number using fractions and the method
This week for Maths we had to make an animation about multiplying fractions with a number using fractions and the method. My question was 4/6 x 5. And my answer was 20/6. I had to explain in fractions and then explain in a animation and have the questions and the answers with the method. my fraction answer was 4 wholes and my method had over 10 slides but I had 19 slides all together. This was very easy.

Visualizing

This week for reading we had to make a copy if this doc then write the answers from a book that you've read. I chose the:Beast Quest the soul steal and Goosebumps the comic steal. I had 2 pictures of what pages have the answers and questions. I had a map and a hand holding it for book 1 and a monster for book 2. This was easy

Planner

LI:To write a quick Narrative for the Maniakalani film feastival
We had to write a story this isn't the finished version it's just a brain storm for our writing. We are writing this because we are having a film festival about the Olympics. We are learning how to write a funny parody.
We were strugling because we didn't know what we should do. We heard MR wong talk about the LS1 olympics and me tipping the cups all over my self. We came up with this other things because I didn't want to copy MR wong.

Swimming: Session 1

This Term for kiwi sport we had swimming. We went on the bus from our school to the Panmure pools at the back. We had not that much time so we ran inside and got changed ready for our session. Mrs Nell asked us some questions about who is good at what. I was good at going under water, I wasn't good at holding breath under water for 1 min so I went to Level 2. Level 1 was learning to hold breath under water. Level 2 which is my group we learnt how to dive and much more. The Level 3 group which was the professional group.
Carmen was Level 3, James Level 2 and Nell level 1. They were learning the hard stuff like jump, Dive and swim to shore. I was still in Level 2 because I need to work on my back stroke but next time the guy said I can go straight to Level 3 which only 5 people are in including me. We had fun and now I am ready and waiting for my next session.

What is Media?


L.i is to make a copy of this and figure out what Media is
This week today we had Cybersmart. For Cybersmart we learnt about the word: Media. Media are mobile device apps that you can use to send information and  Communicate on. For an example if you go on Gmail you can send information and Emails to others. My first time I header the word Media I taught it meant: Types of Communication sites/apps. Now I know what the word Media is. This lesson taught me what the word media means and how we use it.

Kiwi Can T3 WK1




This week for Kiwi Can we were learning about Goal setting and Resilience. We were playing 2 games called: Goal points and Order placer.I Goal points you have 3 cones and they represent: 50, 100 and 150. You have to make a goal from: 100 - 1000 to try to get those points to reach your goal. Next is Order Placer where you have to pick for an example you do Highest to Shortest which you are not aloud to talk you have to get in order without talking. it was easy because we could just see who was tall and short. We had fun and enjoyed our first session this Term beginning. This is a good understanding of Respect, Making Goals, Archive them and Resilience.

Duffy Theater


Last Monday after lunch we had a Duffy assembly to greet us back to school for this term. We had 3 people preforming but I forgot their names. We saw that this show theater was about Bullying. The bug girl was bullying the little girl while the boy stood up for the little girl and said to stop but she didn't. Then later on she stopped because she realized what she was doing wrong. This teaches us not to bully anyone who doesn't want to be pushed around. We enjoined this show and thank them for showing us this.

LS1 Quiz & Term 2 Work

At the beginning of term two we learn about MRS GREN then on week two we had to get into groups and name our group our group name was the cobras. On week three we learned about the nervous system. On week four we learned about the digestive system and had to do tasks. On week five we did sensitivity it was very hard because we didn't understand it very well. On week six we learned about the Respiratory system which is how the air go's into the body. on week seven we did the Circulatory system and learned what it does. On week eight we did the animals circulatory system. On week nine we had to make a speech about MRS GREN and say it in front of the whole class. Lastly this week we did the quiz, In the quiz there are three things we had to do and it was to draw, Do a Sculpture and answer questions if we get the most points we basically win the quiz and know more about the systems, We can make questions that your group all ready knows about and put it into the quiz but you have to pay five credits to our teachers. My team came third place in the quiz. In each activity we did there was a timer but on the question one there was no

ASB Getwise


This Thursday today we had our ASB get wise session. We learnt C A S H witch is: Clear, Action, Save and How long. Goals at the end. I had fun and learnt how to spend money. I learnt that if you start to save younger you would have more money and if you start to save later you'll have less money. Right now I have $73 + my other money I have right now $200 and something dollars in total or even more.

Silent Red Book

L.i is to write a Narrative with a dialogue
This week for writing we had to write a narrative about the Silent Red Book using a Dialogue. I wrote this with 4 paragraphs. Paragraph 1 was: Getting of the train. Paragraph 2: Finding the dog. Paragraph 3: Playing with the dog. Last Paragraph: Going home. I had to include my dialogue which is 2 people speaking. I learnt abut dialogue. i learnt by listing to a video.

M&Ms in a packet




L.I is to make a graph about the text M&MS in a packet.
this week we had to make a graph about M&Ms in a packet. I made 3 graphs of the M&Ms in a packet.
I worked with Lorenzo for this activity. I did most of the work because he just ate his M&Ms. We had fun

L.I is to make a quiz about the book that you read last week
This week for our Must Do we had to make a quiz about the book that you read last week. I read the book called: Man and Sea. It is about a man called: Ioane who goes on an adventure to fight this black octopus. He gets a tattoo after. I made a 10 Question quiz with accurate questions.

Matariki





L.i is to make a poster about Matariki
Today we learnt about Matariki. We made a poster about Matariki wand what it is about. I talked about what I learnt, How I learnt, what its about and other things. This is a research, collaborating and Team work activity. To do this activity we had to look at MRS Anderson's slide to get some information and then make our own information using her information but in our own words. I also researched a little bit to get some: KEY information so I could write more about Matariki. Matariki is a special celebration in Maori. Matariki is part of the Maori New Year. I am Maori Myself so I like to celebrate Matariki by eating dinner but with my whole family. For the Slide we learnt about the Matariki 7 stars. We forgot to do the summary. We learnt the same as the poster but the 7 stars. THIS IS FINISHED WORK!!!
