THE DANCE PRODUCTION

On term 3 2017 Panmure bridge school had a production from yr 1 to yr 8. We had 2 days to perform,1 day each. Our class was doing,Gangnam style,Single ladies,Party rock,Whip nae nae,Dougie and Harlem shake. My dance group song was Party rock. I went to the dance on 1 of the 2 days. The Production was a pretty good Idea to get the parents to come and watch their kids perform and watch the other classes perform so they can see what new fun things they have learnt during term 3. My class was one of the best classes because we had so many songs to dance to. We had a mix of 6 songs. Our class had the most songs in whole school. We were going to have 1 day but they decided to have 2 days incase if you are not there on 1 day. I went on the first day of the dance to perform my dance. My dance was the 3rd dance in my class.

The dance started at 6:30 PM  I was feeling a little confident and a little nervous When I arrived at school.I went to my class LS1 to get changed and ready to dance.When the production started I was going to the hall with my class all dressed up. I watched all of the classes dances and now it’s my classes turn to perform. When I went on stage I said to myself”If I do this dance I can prove to myself I now know how to dance cause I never knew how to dance until now”. I was feeling calm and confident while watching other people from my class perform until My group was next. That was when I was feeling nervous and very scared cause I was in the front Row. But when I finished my dance I thought it wasn’t too bad so I felt a little more confident in dancing and performing in front of people on the stage.

We had Lindon live telling us the next dance after next dance. Our first class performer was the senior kapa haka. Our dance was the 2nd to last dance. The last dance was the Pacifica group. My dance group was the 3rd dance from my class. Before each dance we had an add for each class to get up on the stage while the audience is distracted. After the add is finished the kids start to dance after a news report.Our class was the 2nd best class out of 7 classes. 1st place was Rm 5 Michael Jackson. I think Rm 5 was the best dance because Rm 5 was a pretty good dance and everyone liked it. Everyone was enjoying their 2 day performance or production from Panmure bridge school.

Then we had to watch the last group it was called the pacifica group. The pacifica group was actually a very entertaining dance and a very cultural dance too. I enjoyed their dance because they were energetic and were dancing for a little bit longer then all of the other classes and groups that's what was entertaining for me for the last dance. But my favorite dance was Rm 5 with the 3 michael jackson dances. The first dance from Rm 5 I forgot but the 2nd dance from Rm 5 was who's bad and finally the last dance from Rm 5 was Thriller But everyone in their class was dancing to thriller cause the first dance is 1 group then the 2nd dance was the other half of the class and then the last dance was Rm 5 all together.

After Every single class and other cultural dance was finished Everyone in the school gave zouie a very big thank you for teaching each and other class their dance Before all of the students dancing left. Only The Parents and their children not dancing could go. Everyone enjoyed the dance and had fun doing their dance and watch the other classes perform their dances. Zouie was impressed of the amount of people that came to the dance and the amount of people enjoyed our dances.
