L.I to create a DLO that shows your family backround and your cultures
This activity is all about your family backround. I have 6 different cultures (Maori, Australian, Irish, Filipino, Indoniean and Thailand). This was so cool because I got to show you about my culture and because I am proud. One of my favorite cultures are Irish and Filipino because I want to go there and because It seems interesting.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really good blog post I really like the way you are still catching up on your summer learning journey and going for the big prize of a nintendo switch. The thing that I found amazing is how you have explained so much about your family background.
Well other than that keep up the good work.
Kumasta, Kia ora, G’day and Dia dhuit Giovanni,
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so amazed at how many amazing cultures you are apart of! I think it is so cool that you get to be a part of all these awesome cultures and take a piece from each for yourself. I am interested to know what are some traditional foods from your Fillipino and Irish side of your culture? You are so lucky to have left the country to go to Australia, I know some people who haven’t even left Auckland. Giovanni, I think it is so special that you are proud of your culture because I know just how important our culture can be because it represents who we are!
Also I was super impressed by the layout of your blog post, it was written very well and the title and images are fantastic. Don't forget to attribute your images. This is when you say where you got your photos from. Here is the link if you don't know how.
We give out full marks when you attribute your photos!

Good Afternoon Giovanni,
ReplyDeleteI am Samuel, a Year 7 student attending Sacred Heart College. I am part of a trial period in which they are trying out students to be bloggers, which means it is my first experience with this sort of position. However, I did complete the Summer Learning Journey as a student in previous years.
I love the diversity and differences of the different cultures you preside within. Embracing your culture is so important and I believe that there is a modern movement of embracing and acknowledging the similarities and differences in ones race, rather then the thought of a superior race, so well done for being proud and representing where you come from. I have always wanted to go to the Philippines.
The presentation of your blog post should be very well credited. I loved the layout of the blog. however, don't forget to attribute your photos, because in college, attributing photos are vital to acknowledge the source. Apart from that, a brilliant post. Keep up the good work, Giovanni.
Kind Regards,
Samuel
Hello Giovanni! I really enjoyed reading about your cultural background, and it's great to see your pride in all your different cultures. Your story is very interesting, as you know so much about where you come from. This is an amazing poster, good job!
ReplyDeleteHi Giovanni,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you gave a very detailed explanation on where you're from, what kind of cultures you have and added lots flags. I found it interesting that you're part Thai. Do you have any Thai cousins?
