today I have been reading a book about eleventeen on razkids and a little girl sophie that is ten and she thinks that she is a teenager when she turns 11 for her bitstday.

Te reo maori

This week in te reo maori I have been looking for location's around New Zealand but it has to be in maori words.We were looking for 22 places around New Zealand.I managed to get 19/22 it was really fun.I did a mastake doing the english words first but it was easyer I just went on translation from english to maori words that was easy doing.

Kiwi sport Badminton

Today at 9:45 on Thursday My class had our first Badminton session for Kiwi Sport. I was in group B so Group A went to Kiwi Sport first while my group stayed at class to finish off work while the other group finishes their session .After group finished their session they came back to class so my group which is group B can go to Our first Badminton session.We were excited to play badminton.
Our badminton teacher was Kevin he played for the New Zealand badminton team.We had a lot of fun playing badminton we learnt a lot of trick shots,skills and how to use a racket and shuttle.

My first badminton recount

MY FIRST BADMINTON SESSION

Today at 9:45 on Thursday My class had our first Badminton session for KiwiSport. I was in group B so Group A went to KiwiSport first while my group stayed at class to finish off work while the other group finishes their session .After group finished their session they came back to class so my group which is group B can go to Our first Badminton session.

When we got to the hall we said hi to our Badminton teacher. Then after that he introduced himself then he told us his warm up game. The game was called Stuck In The Mud. He told us how to play stuck in the mud but it was a different version. You have to run around in the middle of the cones or the line and if you get tagged you have to put your arms and legs out like you are doing a star jump but you have to be still. But if you want to be un tagged just ask someone to help you so they can clap under your legs and touch one of your hands then you are free. Then after we played our warm up game our Badminton teacher told us to sit down so he could demonstrate us how to play badminton and teaching us some skills.

When we were sitting down he told us some skills and how to use a racket and a shuttle.

He told us the first thing we needed to know which was how to hold a racket and shuttle and how to use a racket and a throttle. Now when we knew how to use a racket and a shuttle he taught us a basic skill. Which is how to control the Shuttle with the racket. After we learnt some other skills the badminton teacher gave us a challenge to see who can hit the shuttle more than 10 times. After we done that 10 times we had a trickshot challenge the first trickshot challenge was around the back trickshot. You had to try and hit the ball 10 times or more while holding the racket around your back.The second trickshot challenge was under the legs challenge we had to bounce the ball 10 times or more under your legs.

After we done that trickshot challenge we had 1 more challenge before we had to go to class and that was the last boy/girl standing. How dis works is that everyone bounces their shuttle and the last boy/girl bouncing their shuttle wins. We had 2 rounds Julian Won round 1 and Jonathan won the last round. That meant Julian And Jonathan had a sudden death match. Julian won that round.After that it was time to go back to class because it was almost morning tea time. We gave our badminton teacher a big huge thank you for teaching us some basic skills,warm up games,trickshots and how to hold a racket and how to use it.
After we finished badminton we went back to class to eat our morning tea.

THE DANCE PRODUCTION

On term 3 2017 Panmure bridge school had a production from yr 1 to yr 8. We had 2 days to perform,1 day each. Our class was doing,Gangnam style,Single ladies,Party rock,Whip nae nae,Dougie and Harlem shake. My dance group song was Party rock. I went to the dance on 1 of the 2 days. The Production was a pretty good Idea to get the parents to come and watch their kids perform and watch the other classes perform so they can see what new fun things they have learnt during term 3. My class was one of the best classes because we had so many songs to dance to. We had a mix of 6 songs. Our class had the most songs in whole school. We were going to have 1 day but they decided to have 2 days incase if you are not there on 1 day. I went on the first day of the dance to perform my dance. My dance was the 3rd dance in my class.

The dance started at 6:30 PM  I was feeling a little confident and a little nervous When I arrived at school.I went to my class LS1 to get changed and ready to dance.When the production started I was going to the hall with my class all dressed up. I watched all of the classes dances and now it’s my classes turn to perform. When I went on stage I said to myself”If I do this dance I can prove to myself I now know how to dance cause I never knew how to dance until now”. I was feeling calm and confident while watching other people from my class perform until My group was next. That was when I was feeling nervous and very scared cause I was in the front Row. But when I finished my dance I thought it wasn’t too bad so I felt a little more confident in dancing and performing in front of people on the stage.

We had Lindon live telling us the next dance after next dance. Our first class performer was the senior kapa haka. Our dance was the 2nd to last dance. The last dance was the Pacifica group. My dance group was the 3rd dance from my class. Before each dance we had an add for each class to get up on the stage while the audience is distracted. After the add is finished the kids start to dance after a news report.Our class was the 2nd best class out of 7 classes. 1st place was Rm 5 Michael Jackson. I think Rm 5 was the best dance because Rm 5 was a pretty good dance and everyone liked it. Everyone was enjoying their 2 day performance or production from Panmure bridge school.

Then we had to watch the last group it was called the pacifica group. The pacifica group was actually a very entertaining dance and a very cultural dance too. I enjoyed their dance because they were energetic and were dancing for a little bit longer then all of the other classes and groups that's what was entertaining for me for the last dance. But my favorite dance was Rm 5 with the 3 michael jackson dances. The first dance from Rm 5 I forgot but the 2nd dance from Rm 5 was who's bad and finally the last dance from Rm 5 was Thriller But everyone in their class was dancing to thriller cause the first dance is 1 group then the 2nd dance was the other half of the class and then the last dance was Rm 5 all together.

After Every single class and other cultural dance was finished Everyone in the school gave zouie a very big thank you for teaching each and other class their dance Before all of the students dancing left. Only The Parents and their children not dancing could go. Everyone enjoyed the dance and had fun doing their dance and watch the other classes perform their dances. Zouie was impressed of the amount of people that came to the dance and the amount of people enjoyed our dances.
