Bonus Activity: Fun Family Facts

My Neighbor next door likes to garden mostly every day and she has a big garden at the back yard.
My Nan down the road likes to drive people who she know's when she is board. and Last my other neighbor likes to run around the block and I see him everyday and sometimes I race with him but to say he was pretty fast. I like the neighbors around me because they all do different things.

Activity 2: Acknowledging Ancestry

Day 3: It’s All in the Family

I would like to have a big family because we can interact with another and more family mean's more spending time with them making them feel exited and loved to meet someone in their family they don't know because they would feel loved from meeting their new family members. I would be excited to meet more new family members and loved because they would love me because It's my and that persons first time meeting each other. I would love to meet more family members that I haven't met before.

My Favorite Food

Today I posted a blog post about my favorite food for the summer learning journey talking about my Favorite food. It was butter chicken because I like the rice and the chicken and the rap thing all together which is combined to make it more yummy.

My dream Job

A House or a Home?

I am going to tell you a difference about a wharepuni and my house. A wharepuni is a Maori house that was usually in Maori villages. My house is in the city and it is a normal house you live in and you have to buy. My house is for sleeping in, Living in and having fun in. A wharepuni were houses that were usually made for free I don't know but maybe. I wish I could be in a wharepuni to see what it looks like and feels like. I like my house better than a wharepuni because I know my house well and a wharepuni I feel nervous about. A wharepuni is a principal house of a village, guest house, sleeping house. Activity 2: Setting Sail

Today I am going to New Zealand by Boat. The boat that I am using is a waka ama. The waka ama is a Maori boat that is used for Racing and for Traveling. I am feeling Nervous because I haven't been to NZ before and because I haven't been in a Waka ama. I am also feeling shy and scared because there is going to be a lot of people at New Zealand. Moving to a New countries is always scary but fun to me because it is new. If I could have a choice of a new country I would choose a new country to go to I would choose America because it has a lot of yummy food and because most of my family is in America and I would like to spend more time with them.

Activity 1: The First Settlers

I am going to tell you three facts about Maui and about why I would like to be Maui. I would Like to be Maui because Maui is a man who would like to do every thing like fish with his brothers. The one thing about why I would like to be Maui is because He was very good at fishing and because he was brave enough to deal with the sun. Three facts about Maui are that :1 Maui always dreamed about fishing with his other brothers and everyday when they come back he would ask them"Can I go fishing with you next time" and they would say no. :2 Maui was always brave when he had to do something his brothers did not want to do. :3 Maui was one of the most Bravest Maori people. Hope you know some facts about Maui.

Bonus Activity: Waka ama

I would like to be in a waka ama or a waka ama race because waka were used to travel around the ocean to get from 1 place to another. I would like to be in a waka ama because if i am in one I would get to know how far and how fast a waka ama goes and because I want to know how Maori make these waka and how hard it is to control a waka ama. If I could have a choice between other boats and a waka ama I would chose a waka ama because it is my couture and because I want to know those things about a waka ama because I already know lots about other boats except for the waka ama. A waka ama is a Type of boat transportation used for People to travel and for people to race in. A fact about the waka ama is most Maori people use waka ama to travel around to find new Countries but some Maori still use it. I would use a waka ama if I had one, to Travel around New Zealand. I like waka ama because they are culture and are my coulter and because how they are used.

Today I have blogged this thats my money spread sheet I am SO surprised that I came out with $82 because I have been doing more work and now I am confident that I will get to $100 or over.
I learned about what it is going to be like when i am in my life when I have a family and a home.
I learned by making stuff to pretend I am at work to get more money it was fun.

Kiwi sport Last session

Yesterday Thursday we went to kiwi sport for our last session. When we got there we got told that we were having a fun day which we always start with a warm up game which was Octopus as always everyone likes then Kevin gave us a trick shot to try. It was flip the shuttle you have to get a shuttle and with your racket you have to turn the racket around up side down and back up quickly it looks like you'r magic. Then to end the day we played in's and outs then doubles in's and out's. Then we finished the last session with Kevin and went back to class.

Vlog

It has been 15 days since the Zombie apocalypse and me and my community are suffering.
The food services are gone and now that they are gone I can’t eat healthy food to survive longer.
I have no water but river water and food like birds. Science the Zombie apocalypse there was so
many food in the grocery store but we hardly had a chance of getting that food. All we eat is grass and
catching birds with our nets. The zombie apocalypse happened on the 25th of November 1928 And
since then we had more food because we would hunt at night when all of the zombies are gone. I live
in a plane in on the runway close to the river in the forest that’s how I get my water and catch my birds.

L.I is to make generalizations about the impact of a group in our community

Today I wrote a script about my Vlog of a zombie apocalypse. I learned by making a video. I learnt about what will happen if our community services are gone. I had a dream about what will happen in a zombie apocalypse if all of our food services are gone.

The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house

Not a creature was squealing not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung from beautiful mum .

Dad made the cookies and milk on the bench

Then we got into our lovely bed.

We waited in bed with silence we heard

A thump on the roof with loud banging footsteps.

When dad was drinking his delicious tea.

Today I re wrote The Night Before Christmas

and I put some of the words from the actual night before Christmas

and most of this story is In my own words that rhyme. I was surprised that my own
Night Before Christmas came out how a normal poem would come out as because
I thought I wouldn't make a poem but I did.

today I have been reading a book about eleventeen on razkids and a little girl sophie that is ten and she thinks that she is a teenager when she turns 11 for her birthday.She thinks that she is 11 and a teenager and she can go on the bus and go to the mall by herself because she is a teenager like her sister.She reallises that she is not old enough and she is sad but happy that she is 11.

Today I went out side with my group to go and record our News Articles.
Me, Aden, Lukah, Jonathan, Jayden and peter were a group recording our News Article.
I was doing weather. Me and Aden were going to entertainment but now I am doing weather.
We have a slide of our work and then we have our video of our recording.

LI: To manage finances and profit.

This week I have been working on a bank account to show how a life kind of works by paying insurance and income tax I also think this is helping us prepare for our real life so we know what is going to happen when we get a house and a car. I learned this by focusing on gaining more money by doing maths activity's. I was not that good at this maths but it was fun.

We were so scared we wouldn't make it t blog it.

Kiwi sport

At kiwi sport we done a warm up game then started the session this session was the 2nd to last session so it was kind of a fun session we done a rally and we had lots of fun my favorite thing we did at kiwi sport was the pairs rally we had 6 pairs on each court and those pairs would battle. I was surprised that it was the 2nd to last session of badminton so I made the most of my 2nd to last session and now I am waiting for the last session. Then after that we went back to class.

Kiwi can Week 8 T4

Today at kiwi can it was fun it was fun kiwi can day we did lost of fun games like groups red and blue ball tag and many more my favorite game was groups red and blue ball you have to get into even groups red and blue then make a tower and the first person to get the ball can break down your groups tower but you can't run with the ball and the opposite team can get the ball if you throw the ball to your team mate then if the other person from the other team gets the ball when you throw it they can start passing it to their team mates and knock your tower down and win.

interacting with each other and about some facts about food services, accountant and police.

Wheel decide & Coin flip random test

L.I: to create a test with heads and tails with a heads and tails and do 100 for each to see if wheel spin or coin flip is random you can also use Wheel decide to spin the wheel.

Today I done my coin flip and wheel spin test with 100 each 100 for coin flip and 100 for wheel spin.
Me and Te Pounamu did our 100 coin flips each and our 100 wheel decide each.Me and Te Pounamu did his piece of work for the whole of the first block It was pretty hard but we got it done.

Kiwican T4 week 7

Yesterday, Wednesday we went to kiwi can with group B.When we got there we got into 4 groups.3 groups had 5 people and 1 group which was my group had 4 people in my group.First we did our greeting in my culture Philippine then we got started with our session.My FAV thing at kiwican was acting out the beanbag and the soccer ball.

Kiwi can T4 week 6

Yesterday,Wednesday we went to kiwi can.It was only Mrs Latoya there so we first played a game called feet in the hoop you have to put the amount of feet that the caller says in the hoop and the last people to do it is out.After that we talked about emotional feelings and how people express and show other people how they fell.Then after that we played A GKQ/General Knowledge questions game.A group of people stand up and the first person to answer the question that the person says wins.Then we had to go back to class so we all said thank you t Mrs Latoya and went back to class to start our Te reo Maori.

Kiwi sport T4 Week 6

Today me and group B went to kiwi sport in the morning at 9:45.When we got there we done a warm up game as usual then we start the session with Kevin.First we done the warm up game everybody is ti then we done a forehand serve.Kevin showed us how to do the forehand serve then we all started to do the forehand serve.First we done a forehand serve then a catch when both of you have done that 5 times each then you start a rally with a forehand serve.We done the forehand serve rally then we played a game to end our session with Kevin.We had to get into 2's and battle other people in a rally with a forehand serve and the first team of 2's get 2 points they win which the losers have to battle someone else and the winners have to stay there and battle the next pair in a rally.After we done that it was time to go back to class for morning tea so we said thank you to Kevin then went back to class.

Maths Survey & Test

LI: to compare and contrast a probability test with a statistical survey

Today i did my maths survey and test.I did the survey with lots of people 
then I did a Graph to see which was the most picked number from 1-12.
Most people chose 7 11 people chose 7 though. I chose 7 as well 
because most people chose 7 to but also because 7 was my
 little brothers birthday when he was born. I done only 3 slides with the 
way to show people how to do this activity.

Firestation Visit

   Today this Monday walked from school to the M.T wellington fire station.When we arrived there we sat down in the firetruck garage and the firefighters introduced their self's to us then talked about them and told us how old they were,where they came from and how long they have been a firefighter for. After that we walked out side and sat on the floor and sat on the wood. The firefighters talked about how long they do their training and then talked about the amount of money their gear coast.

Then they talked about their firetruck. We all gazed when we saw it I was excited too to see a firetruck while sitting down AT a fire station WITH firefighters. First before they do and show all of us about the firetruck they showed us about their firefighter truck and fully dressed up. I was so amazed at seeing a firefighter fully dressed up in his uniform because I have never seen a firefighter fully dressed up in his uniform for real life only on TV.

Finally the last part was the firefighter showing his firetruck and then all of us walked around it and then the firefighters talked about the firetruck. I was surprised myself seeing the firetruck but still it was pretty cool seeing one. After that we went back and sat down and then the firefighters talked about their hoses that MR Ogilvie chose 4 people to go and have a turn to hold the hose. It was cool seeing kids from our school and our CLASS hold a firefighters hose. After that we watched MR Ogilvie hold the hose but he was squirting the training building. Then we were all ready too see the BIG cannon water hose witch was the big water hydrant looking thing on the firetruck and started to SQUIRT IT HIGH it was so cool but after that we had to go so all of us said Bye and thanked them for letting us go there to the fire station. Then all of us got ready then we walked back to class silently but when we were walking back we heard the fire truck turning their alarms on which was telling me that they were saying bye back to us. It was very exciting and fun watching the firefighters I hope we go there again or go somewhere like the pragmatics.
