3 Bad Things About Being A Doc Ranger:
1: You might get hurt by an animal or pet.
2: You might fall on or in something.
3: You might give an animal or pet the wrong food or thing.

3 Good Things About Being A Doc Ranger:
1: You get to see new animals or pets.
2: You can feed them.
3: You get to enjoy the animal life.

I would like to be a DOC Ranger because I like animals and I have 7 pets at home. If you think I am not real I have 1 baby geko Lizard, 2 big geko lizards, 2 water dragon lizards, 1 dog and a frog. I use to have a lot of pets and that is the reason why I want to be a DOC Ranger. I also want to be a DOC Ranger because I want to be able to take care of other pets / animals I havn't seen in real life.

Day 3: Activity 1

L.I is to make a DLO describing you monster / beast.
For summer learning jeourney I had to make a DLO describing what beast we like. I had to do it because it was for 4 points. So far I have: 40 points including this post. I really want to get a prize for the summer learning journey. This is a good post so far. Hope I can get the prize.

Commenting

L.I to make a positive comment on a blog post.
This week I commented on chris's inquiry research on Jane adams. I commented on his blog post saying that him and his partners have done an excellent amount of work and recearch. I really enjoied looking through their slide and I think he has done a great job. At the end I said keep the good work up so he can get the positive feedback.

Current Events

This week I did a current events activity. I wrote about the book called: Zombie Apocolypse. It's about some people who crash and find themselves stuck and decided to survive there until help comes. It come to a happy ending, but there are some sad bits in the story that are sad.

Day 2: Activity 3

CACTI PROBLEM: You have to keep a Cacti / Cactus alive by giving it 3ml of water everyday. How many ml of water do yo need to feed a cacti / cactus for a whole year?

CACTI ANSWER: 1095ml Because there are 365 days in a year. If you times 365 x 3ml that gives you the answer of 1095ml.

Basic Facts Box Addition

L.I is to complete one of the basic facts boxes 

This week for my basic facts box I did my addition. I had done 10 baxes from tmes tables 1 - 12. This was good from listing my times tables multiples that will reminde me and will make me remember and help me solve other questions. This is a big improvement and now am fresh and warmed up for maths.

L.I to make an interactive and information slide DLO about your activist
This week for inquiry we had to make a DLO slide of both interactive and information slide. This was quite a hard activity to be honest. Me and Akuhata were partners for this activity so it wasn't hard. We finally got it done and presented as group 4 on monday.

Day 2: Activity 2

Silver Ferns.

This is the Silver Ferns uniform. Silver ferns is a womens
netball team. They have a black and white T-shirt - shirt.
This is a type of team that has a fern in their name. This
is my last best uniform because I don't like the T-shirt that
goes into a skirt.

Football Ferns.













The football ferns is my favorite uniform because I like the
white that his the little details as black. This is my favorite
because I like the design and it has my favorite logo: Nike.

Black Ferns.














Black Ferns is my 2nd favorite because I don't like the shape of
the uniform. I like the color though. It just doesn't suit the type of
team. It is a good uniform, but the layout and shape needs to be
changed.

Day 2: Activity 1

Giants umong us. Tane Mahuta is a big tree. I would like to visit Tane Mahuta because it would be a cool and it would be lovely looking at the beautiful forests. Here are 3 Reasons for why I would visit Tane Mahuta.

REASON 1: I would like to visit Tane Mahuta because it is a cool adventure on the way and we will still be able to learn new things during the hoidays.

REASON 2: I would also like to visit Tane Mahuta because we might be able to climb it if we're careful.

REASON 3: The last reason why I would like to meet Tane Mahuta is because I think it is a fun and learnable adventure, and because I havn't been there before.

For Activity 3 we had to make a copy of this foot and write how you can be safe online. I wrote some words and scentences that describe how to be safe online. For an example Don't give any personal information like email or address. This activity was a quite fun activity and is an awesome activity to do when your doing nothing in the holidays.

My home town is Auckland. Auckland is a city in the North Island. What's special about my home town is that Auckland is the biggest city in Auckland. Here are some fun and interesting words to describe my home town Auckland: Big, Fun, Beaches, Rivers, Parks. The reason why I like my home town is because my home town has a lot of forests which are really valueable.

New Zealand is a really cool country and has a lot of different things other countries don't have, like the beautiful forests, hills and parks. Here are 3 fun facts about New Zealand.
FACT 1: The capital of New Zealand is: Wellington. Wellington is a city in the North Island of New Zealand.
FACT 2: Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand. Auckland is a city in the North Island of New Zealand.
FACT 3: The biggest volcano in New Zealand is: Toupo. Toupo can rise above the surrounding plains to 2797M in the sky which is pretty high. Toupo is a town in the North Island of New Zealand.

Nelson Mandela DLO (Slides)

This week for inquiry we had ot make a google slides about your researched activist. Akuhata and I chose to research about Nelson Mandela. We were partners and we made slides for biography, 2 Fun facts, Extra information, philosophy and one thing about his history. Fun facts one was: what age was Nelson Mandela when he died? Fun fact 2 was: What is Nelson Mandela's real name? Lastly We had to link our plan to our slide. After that we were finish and now we are waiting for next week to present our slides.

Idioms

L.I to learn a whole bunch of idioms
This week for reading we had to find idoms from online stories or books. If we found an idiom, but wasn't on any of the 2 lists than we get 1 point. If we find an idiom that is on one of the lists you get 2 points. The catch is that if you cheat or look for idioms online then you will get minus 1 point of it is bad or you will get 0 point for that idom if it wasn't that bad. We enjoied this activity about idioms because I learnt a new thing or 2.

This week for writing we had to write a narrative. I first made a plan on coggle about T.O.P.E.S. We then wrote our plan on the plan docs. After that we had to copy and paste our narrative plan onto a site called: Storybird. I made a 5 page story and it looks like a real book. Make sure to check it out.

L.I is to find the known maori words to english word of places

This week at maori we had to find the english names for the maori named places. For an example Otepoti was Dunedin in maori and it was in the Te waka a maui which is the south island. This weeks maori activity was a bit easy, but also challenging. 

Division Animation

L.i is to create the last DLO of your last stratergy
This week for maths we had to create our last DLO with our last Stratergy. I chose the last to be a division animation. I made an aniamtion with a total of 1426 slides. It was because the countdown for each 3 questions. This so far was my best animation I have ever done, but also is a good DLO for maths. Now we are done I can't wait for next week which is the last week of school. I just want to know what maths work to do next week.

Kiwi Can Last Week

This week at kiwi can we had our fun week because this week was our last day at kwiw can. We played 3 games called: 10 second tag, Invisible touch and octopus. We enjoyed kiwi can this week at kiwi can and now I know what to do when there is something bad happening.

Last Boxing Session WK 8

This week for boxing was LS1's last session for term 4. We really wanted to make the most of it so everyone started to listen. Pax had to take our session in our class so it was a little cramped. We first had to get our gloves and noodles first as always. We got into partners. The End.

Multiplication Poster (No English)

L.I to make a DLO showing problems in 3 different languages.
This week for Maths we had to do our 3rd DLO. I chose a poster and multiplication. This time we had to make 3 languages for all 3 questions. I chose 3 completly different languages from english and those languages were: Spanish, Filipino and German. I didn't want to choose english so the poster can be an interesting poster. Next week is the week where we do our last DLO stratergy and the stratergy I left was division and animation.
