Kiwi Can T1 WK4

This week at kiwi can we were still learning about positive relationships, positive communication and active listening. We first started the session with our energiser called fruit salad. fruit salad has 4 commands. 1 is apple, 2 is pear, 3 is watermalone and 4 is banana. apple is move hip to left, pear is move hip to right, watermalone is lean back and banana is lean forward. I was 3rd first round and I was 7th in the 2nd round.

Next we were talking about voice tone and how it effect how people aproach us. And this leads us into iur activity called negatives and positives. We had to get into 3 groups of 7 and 1 group of 8. Our role was a coach yelling at a player for missing the score which was Nyjah yelling at Aung Naing for missing the score.

Last we had our GKQ I was in the first 5 and I won. After the last 4 of the 5 groups we had our winners stand up for the last round. I won of the whole game. We then had our points which were 10, 10, 10, 10, 9. Which is 49 of 50.

Reflection: I had fun and felt happy and excited.

How To Stand Up To Bullies

Kiwi Sport (Ki-O-Rahi

This week at Kiwi sport during Ki O Rahi. This week we were learning about the teams Taniwha and Kiona. Then we had at least 3 - 4 games of this version of Ki O Rahi. The team I was in we won because we had planned a good strategy to win.

Reflection: This Kiwi Sport session I really enjoyed because I had a lot of fun. I felt Happy and Excited.

Kiwi Can Wk 3 T1

This week at kiwi can we were learning about positivity and active listening. We first started the session with our activity called Remote Control. We had to walk around the room. If they said pause we had to jump then stand still. There was also Fast forward and Rewind. I didn't win but it was a good game. Next we talked about active listening. Positive listening is all about listening properly so you can understand more better. After that we played our energiser called Chop sue Solute. 1 was a Jab, 2 was a Jab & cross, 3 was a Jab & Cross & kick. 4 was a goku Kamehameha and 5 was an upper cut. Julian stood up then Jack stood up so they were versing each other. Jack was so fast but Julian beat him. LS1 finished and they brought in Vayan they're champion to vs our champion Julian. It was a long game because they were both good but proudly Julian beat Vayan and everyone cheered. Last before we left Kiwi can we had a GKQ (General Knowledge Questions).

Reflection:I think this Kiwi Can session I enjoyed because the cool games we played. I felt happy and excited.

Te Tiriti O Waitangi

This week we made 3 slides explaining each part of Te Tiriti O Waitingi. My partner was Karlos and we made 3 slides together as a team. Slide one was about how the Treaty of waitangi was made and who signed it. Part 2 was about wa and conflict. Lastly part 3 was when they made peace and to never have war again.

Kiwi Sport (Ki O Rahi) Week 2 Term 1

Today for our first kiwi sport lession we were learning about Ki O Rahi. We didn't get to play ki o rahi so we decided to get us active by playing a sports game. Before we went outside we watched a video about The Legend Of Rahi. The legend of rahi was about a man called rahi who had his wife taken off him, but later on in the story he finds her. Rahi made the game Ki O Rahi for peace because his wife got taken away. We then went outside then played netball and a bunch of other games. 

Kiwi Can Week 2 Term 1

Yestarday on Wednesday we went to Kiwi Can to learn about Postitive Relationships. Positive Relationships is basicly Good Friendship. We first talked about our theme and topic. Our theme was Positive relationships and our topic was Positive attitude. We then went outside to play a couple of games. Afrer that we came back inside to some GKQ then go home.

Role Model

                      

Today We finished our Role Model activity. We had to do a Ven Diagram. On the ven diahram we did How to be a role modle, WHat is a here and the same. We then wrote about what is a role modle meaning. Next we made a picture showing what a role model is. Lastly we did the summary what is a hero/heros?.

Maths Collaborative Challenge Term 1 Week 2

                      
This week for maths, we have been given a word problem to solve in groups. Our question was, "There were 1229 students in the school. If each student received 4 pieces of fruit a week, how many pieces of fruit were handed out?" In my group there was Julian, Giocanni, Alice, Chavda, Nidhi, Angela, Holly, and Miiana. After we had solved the problem, we needed to create a DLO showing our working out. We had a lot of fun working on the DLO, and solving the problem, and we're all glad that we are given a new question every week.

Explanation Sketchnote

Today Me and VIliami made a Digital Sketchnote. The sketchnote was about Explanation. We had 7 Ideas for our sketchnote. The main reason of explanation is to explain how or why something works.

E - Ako Maths: Farmer Brown Goes To Town

Today during Maths I played a game called: E - ako Maths for the first time in class. I knew I was good at Measurement so I clicked on Measurement level 7. Level 7 was called: Famer brown goes to town. We had to measure and figure out questions in kilometers 40 & 60. This activity is an easy activity and I finished it.

What Is A Leader

L.I:  To make a DLO showing what is a Leader.

Today as a group we worked together to complete a DLO about what a leader is
and goals for the future. In our group we had Julian, Alice, Giovanni & Chavda.
We also worked together to make pictures to show leadership.

Today was our first day back from the school holidays. We were all put into groups with our student leaders. Our group had Julian, Myself and Giovanni. Our first challenge we did was writing down our answers underneath what it means and what it looks like. We took 1 photo of ourselves doing an action showing what we think  each Care Value looks like.

Team Work

Today as a group we have created a sketch note to define what teamwork means. 

We have came up with 5 ideas that defines teamwork. In our group was Giovanni, 

Jack, Julian, Angela, Chavda & Nidhi. As a team we completed this activity.
